Why Carpet Cleaning in Portland Is Important

The need to maintain a house, office, building, or other property is a challenge at times when things go awry, and contents become damaged. This tends to happen during routine accidents or even more damaging issues, such as fire or flooding. This can cause one to seek out ways to restore some of the items that have succumbed to the damage inflicted by such events.

Carpeting is one of the more challenging issues that one can face in the event of minor or major flooding or after a fire. This is because the carpet absorbs water, smells, and thus needs to be treated in the proper manner so that it can be restored to a condition that makes the carpeting usable and nice looking once again.

Professional carpet cleaning is beneficial for routine upkeep for carpets, but is also a vital way to bring back the look, smell, and feel of carpeting that has been damaged. Fire can cause a smoke smell to permeate the fibers of the carpet, and the water or chemicals used to put out the fire can also seep into the carpeting. This is why only trained professionals who have access to the right products, tools, equipment, and techniques can truly restore a carpet that has been damaged in this manner. The same holds true for water damage that has occurred through natural flooding or even broken pipes, as the water extraction process is only part of a proper carpet cleaning and restoration process.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If you’re looking for a company to clean your rugs or upholstery no need to look any further. I’ve used them twice now and have been extremely satisfied. My area rugs are sparkling and their pricing is very reasonable. Give them a try. You won’t be sorry!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can’t say enough good things about this rug cleaning company! I brought them a wool rug that had been through a lot—my dog had been sick, and I truly thought the urine stains and smell were beyond saving. I was ready to throw it out. But Nolan, the owner, worked his magic! The stains are completely unnoticeable now, and the odor is completely gone. It smells fresh and looks beautiful again. I’m so grateful for their professionalism, attention to detail, and the care they put into restoring something I thought was lost. Highly recommend!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We were so happy with Portland Rug Cleaning services! Nathan's prices were lower than the other two companies in the Milwaukie-Portland area, and he cleaned and dried our handmade wool rug within 3 days of when we dropped it off. He educated us about how the rug had been made and how he would go about cleaning and drying it, and that helped us to appreciate the value of the cost of that service. We also bought a high-quality waterproof rug pad from him, which he cut to the correct size for our rug. I will definitely take our other wool rugs to him when the time comes to clean them. Very cool building and equipment, we were very happy to give a local business person our business-- thanks for the great experience Nathan!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. As the owner, Nolan takes extreme pride in every aspect of cleaning your rugs or furniture. He also brings years of experience about all facets of upholstery and carpet. In 2020 we bought two beautiful, off-white matching couches for our living room and then we added a dog to the household. We thought we were going to have to replace the couches. Thanks to Nolan, the couches look brand new.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Nolan is great! I had a bunch of area rugs that had pet stains and general dirt, and he got them looking brand new! And, the best part is he steam cleaned some of my couches and I don't know if he has different equipment or technique or what, but he did a much better job than couch cleaners I have hired in the past. With other cleaners, the same couch would be weirdly soaked and wrinkled and have a weird chemical smell for days. With Nolan, it didn't have a smell at all, looked super clean and amazingly dried really fast! Will definitely hire him again!!
